Miss Allison grew up in Appleton, WI and has lived in Madison for several years. She has trained in many styles of dance including hip hop, ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, and tumbling. She even has a little experience in African diasporic dance styles, latin dance, and Irish dancing! She continued her dance education at UW-Madison, receiving a Bachelors of Science in Dance and a Certificate in Pilates.

In addition to all of her training, Miss Allison was a dancer on the Milwaukee Buck’s junior and adult dance team. She has also been a backup dancer for many artists including Montell Jordan, Run DMC, and Coolio. Additionally, she has performed at Summerfest with DJ BG Good, danced in Grace Webber’s music video “414”, and in Courtney Kopchinski’s concept video, “Carnival.”

Miss Allison is currently a member of Barrio Dance Factory, a hip hop company that recently achieved the title of 2024 World of Dance champions. They also had the honor of representing the United States in the international and world finals. Outside of commercial dance work, Miss Allison is a Pilates instructor, a teacher and videographer at Barrio Dance Studio, and is the choreographer for Appleton North High School’s Theatre Department.

She loves to dance because it allows her to express feelings through movement that can’t always be expressed through words. She loves to perform for others because it gives her the opportunity to put smiles on people’s faces and can provide them with a positive distraction from negativity. Miss Allison teaches because she loves sharing her knowledge with younger generations. She loves seeing kids find their love for dance and watching them grow as dancers over time.

Favorite things: Spending quality time with family and friends anywhere outdoors, taking class at Barrio, and going on spontaneous adventures.
