Miss Marie’s hometown is right here, in Oregon! She began dancing at age three and danced at a couple of different studios, including A Leap Above Dance. She trained in a variety of styles of dance including ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, and musical theater. After graduating high school, she attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where she obtained a Minor in Dance.

Miss Marie has been teaching dance for the past several years now and teaches because she loves sharing her passion for dance. She wants to share the benefits that dance has given her with the next generation of dancers. Her goal is to educate while spreading the joy of dance; she wants her students to learn the art while learning to express their own artistry. She herself is inspired by anything and everything: from words in a book to the events around the world, human emotions, struggles, and triumphs.

Fun Facts: She has lived in New York. Miss Natalie was her neighbor when she was growing up. She attended school at the real-world Hogwarts. She has shopped with Kendall Jenner.
