Discounts
If the number of classes registered in any one family total three or more, a 5% discount will apply on all classes after the first two.  We cannot give discounts on private lessons.

Recital
We will have an end of the year recital in June. There is no obligation to participate, however, students do look forward to demonstrating their accomplishments for family and friends. This experience is an important part of the dance experience and helps with the development of poise and self-esteem. The recital is a privilege; students with bad behavior and/or poor attendance may not be allowed to perform. Each dance class will need a costume for the recital. Every effect is made to find beautiful costumes at lower prices, so that all the students can participate in the recital. Students will also be required to have proper shoes and tights to participate in the recital.

Cancellations
Call us or check our website or Facebook page for updates on class cancellation due to weather.  In the case of cancellation due to weather, the class cannot be refunded; however, students can attend a make-up class.  In the case of cancellation by an instructor, a make-up class will be scheduled.

Make-Up Classes
If a student misses class, they can attend another class that is similar for a make-up class within the same session.  As it gets closer to recital time, it may be harder to make-up classes as students will be practicing their routines.

Dancer’s Information Board and E-mails
There is a bulletin board in the waiting room designated for information for dancers and parents.  A Leap Above Dance will also send a few e-mail updates throughout the year.  Parents and dancers are responsible for periodically checking the bulletin board and e-mails for new information, especially near recital time.

Choreography
Choreography learned in classes is original; you must have Instructor’s permission before performing choreography in front of an audience or at competition.  Also, A Leap Above Dance will receive trophies and a portion of all prized earned at competitions.

Observing
Parents are welcome to observe any class from the waiting room.  Parents inside the studios may be a distraction to dancers.  In creative dance class, parents may come into the studio for the first or second class to help make their child feel more comfortable.  After that, parents are asked to observe form the waiting room.

Tardiness
Older students who miss the warm up of class will be asked to observe only.

Personal Property
ALAD cannot be responsible for lost or stolen times.
