Miss Allison grew up in Appleton, WI & has lived in Madison for several years. She has trained in many styles of dance including hip hop, ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, & tumbling. She even has some experience in African diasporic dance styles, Latin dance, & Irish dancing! She continued her dance education at UW-Madison, where she received a Bachelors of Science in Dance & a Certificate in Pilates.
In addition to her training, Miss Allison was a dancer for the Milwaukee Bucks for seven total seasons, spending four seasons on the junior team & three on the adult team. She has also been a backup dancer for many artists including Montell Jordan, Run DMC, & Quad City DJ's. Additionally, she has performed at Summerfest with DJ BG Good, & danced in Grace Webber’s music video “414”, as well as in Courtney Kopchinski’s concept videos, “Carnival" & "Anxiety."
Miss Allison is a member of Barrio Dance Factory, a hip hop dance company who earned the title of USA Champions at the 2024 & 2025 World of Dance Summit & represented the USA in the International Finals both years, placing 11th in 2024 & 8th in 2025. She serves as the 2025/26 Barrio Dance Factory Administrator & Assistant Choreographer, as well as the Barrio Dance Videographer Manager, Content Creator, & an Instructor. In addition to her work in commercial dance, Miss Allison is a certified Pilates instructor & the choreographer for the Appleton North High School Theatre Department.
She loves to dance because it allows her to express feelings through movement that can’t always be expressed through words. She enjoys performing for others, as it brings smiles to their faces and offers a positive distraction from any challenges they may be facing. Miss Allison teaches because she loves sharing her knowledge with younger generations. She loves seeing kids find their love for dance & watching them grow as dancers over time.
Favorite things: Spending quality time with family & friends anywhere outdoors, taking class at Barrio, & going on spontaneous adventures.
