Ellie Roach
Instructor
Miss Ellie is a native of Madison and has over 15 years of ballet training, having studied under various instructors and ultimately advancing her skills through the mentorship of the Madison Ballet faculty. In addition to ballet, she has experience in modern, jazz, and contemporary dance. Following her high school graduation, Ellie moved to Los Angeles to further expand her love of dance by studying a diverse range of dance forms from multiple teachers. Miss Ellie received her Module Two Certification in Acrobatic Arts in 2024. Additionally, she specializes in teaching Balanchine technique. She loves this style for its dynamic energy and athleticism, as well as its integration of technique with aesthetics to produce beautiful lines and movement across all dancers. She offers instruction in this and other forms of dance because she is passionate about sharing her love of dance and enjoys watching the technical growth and artistic development of her students. In teaching, Ellie has high expectations of her students. She believes in jumping right into class and leaving everything else at the door. Her expectations come from believing that her students are capable of more than they even know. Fun fact: She lives in Fitchburg with her husband, kids, and dog
