Madison Liuzzo
Instructor
Miss Maddie is from New York City and moved to Madison in 2022. She began her dance training when she was just three years old at Downtown Dance Factory, her home dance studio. She trained in all styles of dance, but as she grew was especially drawn to hip hop, jazz, and contemporary. Throughout her dance education, she has earned multiple scholarships and received eligibility to compete for “Best Dancer” at The Dance Awards. After high school, Miss Maddie moved to Wisconsin, where she is currently a full-time student at UW-Madison. She has maintained her dance training through various professional opportunities, including performing for the Milwaukee Bucks during the 2023-2024 season. Additionally, she has performed with Barrio Dance Factory, a Madison-based professional competitive dance team that was named World of Dance USA Champions in 2024 and 2025. In the summer of 2025, Miss Maddie participated in the opening number at the DanceOne Summit in New York City, performing for an audience of renowned dancers and choreographers, including Derek and Julianne Hough. Miss Maddie began teaching in 2019 and truly believes that students shine the brightest when they’re challenged. She strives to push her students to reach their full potential while ensuring that they feel supported and comfortable in class. Remembering how she admired her own dance teachers as a young dancer, she feels inspired to be that role model for her students, helping them uncover their own passion for dance. It brings her joy to watch them as they discover that special spark. Fun Facts: She LOVES football and loves going to hot yoga and Pilates in her free time
